Privacy
Nos.photos hosts family memories: discretion is at the heart of the service. Here is, plainly, what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.
1. What we keep
For your space: the family name, the space address, the first names and e-mail addresses of members, and the chosen language.
Your content: the photos, films, journal pages, stories, suggestions and recordings you upload, along with the information you add to them (dates, places, people).
For operations: limited technical logs and, for the space owner, internal insights into what is viewed in the space (sections viewed, photos opened), without IP address or geolocation.
2. What we do not do
We do not sell or rent any data. We show no advertising. We do not use your photos to train artificial-intelligence systems. Nobody outside your space sees your content, except where required by law.
3. Where data is hosted
The site is hosted by Vercel, the database by Neon (Postgres) and files by Vercel Blob. E-mails are sent through Resend and payments are processed by Stripe. These providers may host data in the United States or Europe, under data-protection agreements.
4. Cookies
We only use technical cookies: your sign-in session and your preferred language. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
5. Your rights
You can view, correct, export or delete your data at any time, from the space or by writing to us. Deleting a space erases all of its content within thirty days, backups included.
Photos may show other people; any recognisable person can ask for an image to be removed by writing to us.
